Shirley Jean Burroughs (Fincham) 1953 - 2009

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, Aunt, and friend.

Your love and fighting spirit will live on in all of those that you have touched.

You will be deeply missed.

We want to thank everyone for the enormous outpour of sympathy and support we have received.  Shirley has touched so many lives through her boxers.  She was so passionate about her dogs and they truly brought her love and joy.

Shirley was taken from us so suddenly by cancer.  She was diagnosed on March 5th and, with her family by her side, she left us on March 21st.

Shirley would be honored if her Boxer kids attended the dog day on May 16th in Hillsboro, Virginia.  Her family will also attend and bring some of her Boxers in her memory.  We were so touched when we heard about this gathering being planned.

Again, we thank you all so much for your kind and caring words during this difficult time.
